2020 Lifetime Achievement Award (New York State Association of County Clerks or “NYSACC”)

The office of the Westchester County Clerk was presented this award. The Clerk's office has been a leader in statewide efforts to allow for the electronic recording of land records. He has been a driving force behind the acceptance and the expansion of the electronic filing of court records through the New York State Courts Electronic Filing System. 


2017 Annual Achievement Award (NYSACC)

The office of the Westchester County Clerk was presented this award in recognition of his contributions to NYSACC over the past year. As the court-appointed Chair of the New York State Office of Court Administration Committee on Supreme Court Civil E-Filing, the clerk and his team of twenty-four judges, attorneys and county clerks from all over the state review sixty-two (62) counties’ abilities to perform mandated e-filing, to protect the public and the courts under very strict state legislative guidelines and rules. He also co-chairs NYSACC’s all-important Legislative Committee, which produces, reviews and advocates for and against legislation which impact Clerks’ systems and operations from small counties to large. 


2016 Annual Achievement Award (NYSACC)

The office of the Westchester County Clerk was presented this award in recognition of his contributions to NYSACC over the past year including his efforts to support the expansion of electronic filing of court records throughout the state.

National Association of CountiesThe Office of the Westchester County Clerk’s successful implementation of Electronic Recording of Land Records was selected as winner of a 2013 Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties (NACo) in the category of Information Technology. This prestigious achievement award annually recognizes county governments which integrate innovative and efficient systems of government that benefit the people they serve. 


2013 Best of New York Best In-House Developed Application
Westchester County Clerk's Electronic Recording Portal

Best of New York logoThe office of the Westchester County Clerk received a Best of New York award for the Best In-House Developed Application for the Electronic Recording portal launched by the Office of the Westchester County Clerk last September. The award was presented by the Center for Digital Government, a national research institute and advocate for best practices in state and local government, which recognizes works of distinction in information technology.


 

 

2010 Best of New York Project Excellence Award
Westchester County Clerk’s Property Records Electronic Portal (PREP System)

Best of New York Project Excellence Award

This award was accepted by the County Clerk on behalf of the PREP project team on September 22, 2010.  This award, which recognizes best practices and works of distinction in the information technology area, was one of only ten awarded statewide in 2010.

 


 

2010 Digital Government Achievement Award Honorable Mention

2010 Digital Government Achievement Award Honorable Mention

 

The Center for Digital Government awarded this honorable mention on August 17, 2010 to Westchester County Clerk office on behalf of the Westchester Records Online project team in recognition of WRO being among the “outstanding agency and department Web sites and projects at the application and digital level” in the United States.


2010 National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Award

 

The office of the Westchester County Clerk's new land records system, the Property Records Electronic Portal (PREP System), was recently named a winner of a coveted 2010 Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties (NACo).   The Clerk’s PREP System was recognized by NACo as an example of promoting “quality, efficient, and responsive management and administration.”
