  • Veterans Discharge Papers
Veterans are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to file a copy of their military discharge papers with the County Clerk’s office. This important document will be permanently saved and should the veteran ever misplace or damage the document, an image can be provided, free of charge, by the Clerk.
  • Senior Citizens
Each fall the Westchester County Clerk visits senior centers throughout the County to speak with seniors about issues of concern to them and to alert them about various scams, such as the deed scam.
  • Pistol Licensing
In order to have or carry a pistol in New York State, you must first obtain a pistol license. In Westchester County, licensing officers are judges or justices of the Supreme or County Court (Penal Law §265.00[10]).  The County Clerk issues Pistol Licenses and maintains the license files, upon the granting of a license by a judge.
