To educate our community about this serious issue, we are preparing a calendar of events on any topic related to domestic violence and other issues of victimization of women: spouse or child battering and abuse, LGBT domestic violence issues, incest, sexual harassment, rape, legal and health issues related to family violence.  The calendar will cover events between October 1st thru 31st and will list events through December 2006.  We will also publish “Save the Date” events for next spring.  In mid-September the calendar will be distributed to County residents, women’s organizations, etc., and will be on relevant County websites.
