Caregiver Resources
A list of publications that will assist any caregiver with the arduous tasks involved with taking care of the elderly. The guide to resources and services provides caregivers with addresses and phone numbers of the closest Caregiver Resource Center in their area which will aid them in taking care of their loved ones.  The Senior Outreach program ensures that the elderly can remain independent for as long as possible by keeping their health and dignity in the golden years. Programs include Senior Days, apartment building newsletters, computer classes,  trip to museums and theaters, and hobby groups.  "Caring" is a newsletter for caregivers that acts as a guide and bulletin and lists resource centers in the area, upcoming workshops and events for seniors, and tips for both seniors and caregivers.
Westchester County's Safe Centers for Seniors helps older people who need assistance as well as their caregivers who may feel overwhelmed.
A brochure that shows the many ways seniors living independently in senior apartments can get more involved with their community.
Caregiver Resource Service Centers have been established throughout Westchester to provide advice, information and services that will assist caregivers in their role of caring for an elderly family member.
