November 1, 2007: As part of a major effort to modernize office operations using prudent fiscal and management methodology, Westchester County Clerk Timothy C. Idoni is proud to announce that Land Records division customers now have the option of paying for recording fees and taxes via an Automated Clearing House (ACH) debit from their bank account. By linking a bank account via ACH with the Office of the County Clerk, customers will not need to provide checks and will receive detailed notification emails each time a transaction is processed. ACH customers will not experience rejection of their documents because the check presented was not calculated correctly, a frequent cause for document rejection.
Customers interested in setting up an ACH account with the Office of the Westchester County Clerk should review our ACH Information and Enrollment Packet. Contact Hulda Martinez at (914)995-4498 or hvm1@westchestergov.com with any questions or concerns.
