Westchester has teamed up with the creators of Archie Comics to use the comic characters to educate kids on issues such as underage drinking, bullying and communicating with parents. Its award-winning website offers kids and their parents tips on how to talk about drugs and drinking and how to safely navigate the web. Face Value, is a county website with an anti-smoking message just for teen-age girls. The county’s Fit Kids program works with schools to offer ways to encourage kids to eat healthier and get more exercise.
