Sponsors needed for '07 event honoring community's "trailblazers"

Westchester County Executive, Andrew J. Spano, County Legislators and the African American Advisory Board are already gearing up for another wonderful Black History Month Celebration.

During this event – scheduled for February 2007 - Trailblazer Awards will be presented to outstanding citizens who have made substantial contributions to Westchester County.  This annual event has been well attended and received by community leaders and major organizations in the county.  We anticipate another memorable evening with participation from many notables who have generously offered their time and talent.

Sponsorship and involvement of the business community has parlayed into the success of this event.  Therefore, your presence and support in underwriting the reception for the Black History Month program is needed.  If your company is interested in helping sponsor this event, please contact Symra Brandon in the Office of African American Affairs at 914-995-2934 or sdb1@westchestergov.com
