 Welcome to the Trades Licensing Division of the Office of the Westchester County Clerk. Our staff is ready to assist plumbers and electricians who are applying for professional licenses, as well as consumers who would like to check the status of a plumber or electrician they wish to hire. |
Check for a Westchester County License |
 Ask to see your plumber or electrician’s Westchester County License Card which will show the date their license expires. You can also visit Westchester Records Online to see if the person you wish to hire is licensed in Westchester County. |
Apply for a Trades License |
| In order to obtain a trade license, you must apply to take the applicable licensing examination. Please review our examination schedule for testing dates and cut off dates for the filing of your application. Applications for testing are available in our office or online. Read More. |
