Westchester County is home to nearly 34,000 companies that account for more than $17 billion in annual payroll and approximately 400,000 employees. More than 170 businesses have their headquarters here including Pepsico, IBM, Fuji Photo Film USA, New York Life Insurance, Nokia Inc. and Snapple Beverage Group/Motts, Inc. In 2004, the Westchester County Department of Planning developed a report on the county’s major employers. A list of companies is also available by municipality or SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) code.
